In November, "Sciencely. Baku" offers a great way to celebrate the end of the school year - the final program of this season "Food Sciences". 

In the company of physicists, chemists and biologists our young scientists will lead a series of experiments on food. In two hours we will find out what the food consists of, divide it into components and compile it back.

In two hours your child:

- Turn foodstuffs into food for the mind

- Learn about the composition of food, its physical and chemical properties

- Master the technology of scientific egg cooking

- Synthesizes a couple of "E" and finds out if it is harmful to health Which laboratories will we visit at our "delicious" premiere?

Culinary workshop in 4 laboratories:

- Laboratory of dizzying aromas. We will assemble our own extraction device. We will find out what mint actually smells like and will get the kitchen familiar smells in a laboratory way.

- Laboratory of boiled eggs. Using physico-chemical methods, we calculate the ideal time for boiling a chicken egg. We will separate the yolk from the protein, make a qualitative comparison of the compositions and find out everything about the cost of an eaten egg.

- Laboratory of canned pineapples. Let's get acquainted with the stew and understand the methods of canning products. We will can couple of pineapples in four different ways and take it all home to find out which method of canning is the best.

- Laboratory of marmalade bears. We will understand the mechanical properties of jelly, find out what apples, red water plant and chicken bones have in common. We will isolate gelling agents and create marmalades on laboratory equipment.

The program is fully interactive - each child performs experiments with his own hands. In order to make it more convenient for everyone, we divide our programs into two age groups - 7-9 years old and 10-14 years old. The topics discussed in different groups are the same, but the guys are always more comfortable surrounded by peers.
